13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is coming to Nintendo Switch in April 2022

Recently, Atlus announced that 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, their critically acclaimed published title under developer Vanillaware, is coming to Nintendo Switch on April 12, 2022.

It was released back in 2019 for the PlayStation 4 in Japan, later worldwide in September 2020. The game itself is a dramatic side-scrolling adventure visual novel that weaves light puzzles and RTS-like battles. Players will follow 13 young pilots with their sentinels in a fictionalized 1980s Japan faced with a futuristic war between mechas and the hostile Kaiju. Following these characters, players will unravel an intertwining narrative that uncovers the mysteries established across space and time.

Narratively, the game has faced praise, even nominated for Best Narrative at The Game Awards. Furthermore, Push Square awarded it nine out of ten stars last year in September for PS4, with a spoiler-free note that wraps it up for anyone on the fence:
