Photography, Vampires and Aliens!
It’s a new week, which means we have new games releasing! Whether you’re obsessed with vampires, crave sci-fi action or enjoy a good simulation game, there’s something for you. So, without further adieu, let’s look at every new title coming out this week!
Umurangi Generation (May 17)
The first new game releasing this week is Umurangi Generation. Developed by Origame Digital and published by Origame and Playism, this is a simulation title that puts you in the shoes of a photographer living in a futuristic dystopia. The game originally launched for PC in 2020. Now, the new version of Umurangi Generation will feature the base game, the Marco DLC, new modes and every major update since launch.
Umurangi Generation releases tomorrow on Xbox Game Pass for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. Then, on Thursday, PC players can get their hands on it. Unfortunately, however, Nintendo Switch players will need to wait a little longer, as it launches on that platform on June 5. To learn more, visit the game’s official website.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong (May 19)
If you’ve ever dreamed of role-playing as a vampire, this is the game for you. Developed by Big Bad Wolf and published by Nacon, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is a choice-driven RPG that lets you play as three vampires in modern-day Boston. Swansong is the newest title in the Vampire: The Masquerade series, based on the highly popular tabletop game.
Although the game was originally set to launch in February, the developer pushed the game back to add further polish. But the wait is finally nearing the end, and players will be able to sink their teeth into the new game this week. Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong releases on Thursday, May 19 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Dolmen (May 20)
Ever wanted to take the intensely difficult gameplay of Dark Souls into outer space? If so, Dolmen is for you. This cosmic action RPG takes players to a planet called Revlon Prime where they must retrieve a crystal with the ability to interact with different realities.
Along the way, players will need to use melee weapons and a shield to defend against and defeat the hostile and horrific aliens that inhabit Revlon Prime. In addition, players can activate Energy Mode, which grants elemental effects to your arsenal. With a high likelihood of being torn to shreds by fierce aliens, players need to take advantage of every trick up your sleeve.
Developed by Massive Work Studio and published by Prime Matter, Dolmen heads your way this Friday, May 20. It launches for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. You can also learn even more about Dolmen on the game’s official website.
