A live action Yakuza film is in the works
The popularity of the Yakuza could definitely not be understated; With numerous entries in the series (and their next game out in November), Yakuza is still going strong .
According to Variety, SEGA’s next venture with Yakuza is in film. Erik Barmack, Roberto Grande, and Joshua Long will produce the film with the help of Wild Sheep Content and 1212 Entertainment. 1212 Entertainment is best known for producing Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.
