Analogue, the company who earlier this year released the fantastic Analogue Sg Genesis system, has announced its next hardware product – the Analogue Pocket.
The Analogue Pocket will be compatible with the entire Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance libraries. It will feature an HD screen (said to be 10 times higher than the original Game Boy, stereo speakers, a USB-C rechargeable battery and re-mappable buttons.
There will also be cartridge adapters available that will add support for Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color and Atari Lynx games.
Of course, this isn’t the first new piece of hardware that can play Game Gear games, as both the Retro Freak and RetroN 5 have Game Gear adapters of their own, but having these games playable on the go is a tempting offer.
As of the time of this writing, there has been no details as to when the Analogue Pocket will release or how much it will cost.
