I think the Sonic Movie exceeded everyone’s expectations; It broke box office records and was well received by both fans and critics. As soon as SEGA and Paramount saw the dollar signs, a sequel was already in the works. We even reported on the sequel’s official title this month!
In a recent interview with Comic Book Movie, Sonic voice actor Ben Schwartz gave us a couple more details on the upcoming movie. This is what he had to say:
“I believe Sonic starts filming in the next few months, I’m not quite sure when, but I know it’s coming up, and I was able to read a script and it’s gonna be great!“
