Today is going to be an excellent day for WWII game enthusiasts and Company of Heroes fans. Why? SEGA and Relic Entertainment announced the newest addition to the highly anticipated third game in the franchise, Company of Heroes 3 Multiplayer Pre-Alpha slice, will release tomorrow! Described as “next generation action, award-winning tactics and addictive layers of strategy,” Company of Heroes 3 aims to be unique.
Pre-download for tomorrow’s release is available right now through the Company of Heroes website. Players will get a firsthand look at how the multiplayer part of the game will function, including new combat modes. Battle against AIs in Co-Op. Try out the competitive PVP (1v1 and 2v2) and Solo Skirmish vs AI modes. Players will experience four maps set in the Mediterranean, and includes two familiar factions- US Forces and Wehrmacht. Both factions have two early playable battlegrounds, with “many more still in development.” Earlier announcements indicate that Company of Heroes 3 will have the largest roster of factions to date in the franchise history.
Company of Heroes 3 servers in North America, Europe and Asia will be open at 9:00 am, PST and will remain open until December 6 at 8:00 pm PST. And hey Streamers- streaming of the Pre-Alpha test modes are fully allowed, as long as it follows SEGA’s guidelines and Code of Conduct. So, let’s see some action!
