Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower is preparing to bring his U.S. forces, featuring versatile infantry and vehicles, are about to enter into Company of Heroes 2 battlegrounds when the game’s first expansion The Western Front Armies is released June 24 for $19.99.
Along with the U.S. forces, Germany’s elite Oberkommando West Army is introduced in the expansion. “Despite being challenged by an economy nearly shattered after years of continuous war, the Oberkommando West still manage to field some of the most impressive heavy armor yet seen,” the DLC’s Steam page reads. “The technical prowess of Germany is on full display as devastating armored force equipped with a new generation of super-heavy tanks repeatedly counterattack the US Forces attempting to drive into the heart of Germany.”
With the two armies joining the fray, there will also be eight new maps, bringing the game’s total to 31.
