Developer Massive Monster and Publisher Devolver Digital have confirmed that the game has amassed over a million players in its first week of release. In celebration, they posted a video on Twitter to thank players who jumped in. You can find the video below.
A huge congratulations to Massive Monster and Devolver on the success! Cult Of The Lamb is one of the most unique games to release this year. It sports a mixture of rogue action gameplay and cult simulation. Making it unlike any title you’ll see this year.
It’s clear the gaming community responded to how original it looked! Having one million players in week one for a new IP is difficult to achieve nowadays. So it’s a phenomenal sign that word of mouth is getting around the gaming community. Blessed be the lamb!
Cult Of The Lamb is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC.
