The chaps (and chappettes?) over at Hucast just tweeted a video for its latest release, DUX 1.5 for the Dreamcast.
This is an updated version of the original DUX, not a new game (unfortunately). However, it is still exciting news, as it means that enthusiasts have another chance to purchase a new Dreamcast release! DUX 1.5 is said to have updated features, including re-balanced gameplay (said to be ‘better and easier’), a new “rockin’ soundtrack” by Andre Naumann and Marco Groß, custom controls, and instant respawn.
For those of you who already own DUX 1.0, don’t worry, as Hucast has said, “All customer who own a DUX 1.0 copy will obtain a 1.5 revision single disc for free.“
Plus, if you funded the Kickstarter campaign of Redux: Dark Matters, you will receive a discount on DUX. You just need a “kickstarter discount” account to receive said discount.
DUX 1.5 is available on April 22, 2013, and it can be bought and pre-ordered here.
