As COVID-19 sweeps the globe, events in every industry have rescheduled or cancelled due to fear of spreading the disease. This year’s E3 was no different, as the Entertainment Software Association announced the event being cancelled last month.
This week, the organization announced next year’s E3: June 15-17 2021. To make up for this year’s E3 cancellation, IGN announced a “Summer of Digital” event for early June 2020. This event would feature news, previews, interviews, and more from 2K Games, Amazon, Bandai Namco, Devolver Digital, Google, Sega, Square Enix and THQ Nordic, among others.
