Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will now come to Nintendo Switch
Switch players can also get their hands on the prequel Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising now!
In today’s latest Kickstarter update, Rabbit & Bear Studios revealed that Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will come to Nintendo Switch.
Initially, the developers confirmed the RPG will land on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. In addition, Rabbit & Bear Studios alluded to a version of the game that would eventually hit Nintendo’s next system. However, speculation grew among fans about whether we could also see it on Nintendo’s current hardware, the Switch.
As of today, the studio confirmed that they will produce a port of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes for Nintendo Switch. The official statement also explains why they didn’t initially commit to Switch. The studio explains that they wanted to see other options for a next-gen Nintendo release.
Given recent speculation over the Nintendo Switch and potential next generation Nintendo iterations, we wanted to play it safe and investigate what options we had before fully committing to a Nintendo Switch version. But now the wait is over, and we’re delighted to confirm that Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will also be landing on Nintendo Switch!

Because the Switch port is a recent decision, the developers did not mention whether players will have to wait longer to get their hands on that version. Currently, however, the game has a general 2023 release window.
