English cast of Lost Judgment reprising their roles with new faces as well
Meet the cast and characters for Lost Judgment.
SEGA confirmed the English cast for Lost Judgment yesterday via Twitter.
In the post, they state that the English cast will be returning to reprise their roles. SEGA adds that new members are joining as well. Along with the message comes a two minute video showcasing each of the main characters and the names of their respective voice actors.
Returning Cast Members
Among the returning cast is Greg Chun, the voice actor for Takayuki Yagami. Yagami, the main protagonist in the Judgment series, is a former defense attorney turned private detective. In Lost Judgment, his goal is to solve the mystery behind the murder of Hiro Mikoshiba.
Crispin Freeman also returns as Masaharu Kaito. Kaito is a former Yakuza member for the Matsugane Family. He now works as a private detective alongside Yagami.
Another returning cast member is Mark Whitten. Whitten portrays the character Fumiya Sugiura. Sugiura is a former member of a group of masked thieves. As a thief, Sugiura only steals from the wealthy. He is now an ally of Yagami and Kaito.
New Cast Members
The character Saori Shirosaki returns for Lost Judgment; however, she now has a new voice actor. Previously voiced by Aimee Castle, Shirosaki is now portrayed by Stephanie Sheh. Shirosaki is a defense attorney at the Genda Law Office. She is also a strong ally to Yagami and assists him with his cases.
Another new addition to the cast is Artt Butler. Butler voices Akihiro Ehara, the police officer charged with sexual assault and prime suspect for Mikoshiba’s murder.
Erica Lindbeck also joins the English cast as Yoko Sawa. Bullied in high school, Sawa is now a part of the Mikoshiba case. She reluctantly helps Yagami but fears repercussions for her involvement.
Another new face is Todd Haberkorn. He voices the character Jin Kuwana. Kuwana is the self-proclaimed handyman of Ijincho. He takes on any job for the right price and views Yagami as a rival.
Brent Mukai joins the cast as Daimu Akutsu. Akutsu is a criminal who works for Kazuki Soma. In the extended story trailer for Lost Judgment, a fight scene involving a chainsaw is revealed between Akutsu and Yagami.
The final new addition to the English cast revealed on Twitter is Matt Y. King. King portrays Kazuki Soma. Soma is the leader of the RK network. RK is a Kamurocho-based crime organization. In Lost Judgment, Soma is a fierce adversary to Yagami.
