The revolutionary violent sandbox game Grand Theft Auto III recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. To mark this momentous occasion, Rockstar hit us with the launch date of the recently-announced remaster collection. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition rolls out on Nov. 11.
Through a new trailer released by Rockstar on YouTube, we now know that the game is launching digitally on Nov. 11. Physical releases for specific platforms are also set to release on Dec. 7.

All about Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition
After man rumors and signs that it was happening, Rockstar finally officially announced the GTA Trilogy Definitive Editions just a few weeks ago. Subsequently, the company has confirmed the game’s launch date for next month.
This collection brings together three classic Grand Theft Auto games — GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas — into a modern package. Visual improvements include upscaled graphics, high-res 4K textures, a redone lighting system, fine-tuned models, and more. As Rockstar says in its press release:
Bringing the classic worlds of Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas to modern platforms, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition debuts new GTA V-inspired modern controls, plus across-the-board visual enhancements such as resolution upgrades and improved visual fidelity across the world, and much more to faithfully tune and improve upon all three games, while also maintaining their distinct original aesthetic.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — Definitive Edition launches digitally for the PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Nov. 11. It will also receive a physical launch for consoles on Dec 7. Both versions cost $59.99 USD.
As of now, we don’t know whether or not the trilogy is coming to Steam or Epic Games Store. We know Rockstar is launching the game on PC through the Rockstar Game Launcher, but reported Steam achievement leaks indicate that the trilogy is making its way to multiple PC distribution platforms.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitve Edition is developed and published by Rockstar Games. It will be available for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Rockstar Games Launcher on Nov. 11. Pre-orders for the physical versions, available Dec. 7, are live now through Rockstar.
