Yakuza sure has had its weird history of cameos. The sixth installment alone had Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Tetsuya Naito, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima, and Toru Yano. So how about a worldwide star from America? Does former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega sound like a good fit? It’s Yakuza! Hell yeah, it does!
The former AEW World Champion confirmed on his Instagram that he is in Japan working with SEGA. Specifically, to do a character model scan in the Yakuza engine. Wonder what that could mean? You can check out the post below!
Ok. There are three Yakuza (correction, Like A Dragon) games in development currently. I see a slim possibility that Kenny Omega doesn’t pop up in at least one of them. If I was a betting man, I’d say the most likely is Like A Dragon 8. Or is there a chance this is for an unannounced title from the studio? Judgment 3? Who knows.
It’s cool to see Kenny Omega get an opportunity like this! Even though he is currently suspended from AEW, it is fantastic for fans worldwide to see the former champ in a game series like this.
