Lies Of P snags three awards at Gamescom 2022
Lies of P heads into next year's release with even more momentum!
If you were watching or reading Gamescom 2022 coverage last week, you heard about Lies Of P. The souls-like RPG set in the world of Pinocchio turned heads with its reveal at Gamescom Opening Night. Boasting a gorgeous art design and the type of gameplay fans of Bloodborne have been craving, the game quickly attracted publicity through the press and social media. And according to the press that played the demo at the convention, the hype might be warranted.
Lies Of P managed to snag three awards at Gamescom 2022. It took home the gold for Best Action Adventure Game, Best Role Playing Game, and Most Wanted Sony PlayStation Game. You can check out the trailer shown at Gamescom for the title below.
Three Gamescom awards are nothing to sneeze at. That means critics and con-goers saw that the gameplay backed up the footage viewers saw in the trailer. Which is fantastic news to hear! It looks like players will finally have a gothic souls-like to hold themselves over till Sony figures out what to do next with the Bloodborne franchise.
