Little Big Adventure is set to return with a reboot

Twinsen and Zoe will return, though development has yet to start.

It’s been 24 years since the last release in the cult-classic series Little Big Adventure. However, fans will be pleased to hear that a new title is finally on the way.

Developer 2.21 announced in a recent tweet that a new Little Big Adventure game is on the way.

In addition to the announcement of a new game, this Tweet reveals the involvement of Frédérick Raynal and Didier Chanfray. For those who don’t know, they are the original creators of 1994’s Little Big Adventure. The official website for 2.21 reveals Raynal and Chanfray’s official roles within the company. Chanfray is one of the company’s founders, and Raynal is a member of the creative board. Additionally, the website reveals other members of the team and what their previous experience brings to the table.

Although it’s exciting to know that a new Little Big Adventure game is on the way, unfortunately, fans still have quite a wait. As revealed in the announcement Tweet by 2.21, development for the reboot has not begun. As revealed by a recent job posting on LinkedIn, the development studio is currently focused on building a solid team to work on the game. Specifically, they are seeking someone for the role of Creative Director.
