Lost Judgment is around the corner and coming faster than we all expect. Trailers have shown a mix of dark mystery storytelling and fun mini-games that you will be allowed to partake in if the story is getting a little emotionally heavy for the player’s liking. While the skateboarding and dog-watching shenanigans look fun, Lost Judgment’s localization director Scott Strichart wanted to remind everyone to do their homework into the game in terms of the main story.
He tweeted:
Full credit to Strichart for getting this information out there before the game’s release. Mental health is nothing to mess around with, especially when it comes to personal traumas. A game can easily trigger that for any player that has gone through whatever Lost Judgment is going to entail in its main campaign.
Putting a warning out lets players decide for themselves to find out what Lost Judgment will discuss and if it is ok for them to play it to potentially avoid having an anxiety attack. No game is worth giving yourself mental health problems if it can be avoided. Strichart is right. Your health comes first and never feel bad to take care of yourself however you need to.
Lost Judgment releases September 24th worldwide for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
