Mana 30th anniversary celebrates with orchestra concert

Featuring some of your favorite tracks from the Mana series.

Well-loved Square Enix series Mana soon celebrates its 30th anniversary. The series, particularly notable for games like Secret of Mana and its most recent remake Legend of Mana, has been regarded highly, especially its early games. To celebrate the series, Square Enix and Aetas plan to host the Mana 30th Anniversary Orchestra Concert in spring.

The Mana 30th Anniversary Orchestra Concert

The Mana 30th Anniversary Orchestra Concert includes both a day performance and a night one by the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. Partial setlists for both feature several different tracks from the series’ various games. The day concert plans to highlight music from Trials of Mana, while the night concert focuses on tracks from Legend of Mana.

Day & Night performances

  • “Rising Sun” from Final Fantasy Adventures
  • “Angel’s Fear” from Secret of Mana
  • “Meridian Child” from Trials of Mana
  • “Legend of Mana ~Title Theme~” from Legend of Mana

Day Performance

  • “Where Angels Fear to Tread” from Trials of Mana
  • “Swivel” from Trials of Mana

Night Performance

  • “Nostalgic Song” from Legend of Mana
  • “City of Flickering Destruction” from Legend of Mana

Additionally, fans can expect to see notable composers at the concert. Creators of the soundtrack, including Yoko Shimomura, Kenji Ito, and Hiroki Kukuta, will be featured guests. Of course, creator Koichi Ishii also has an invitation to attend. Other attendees invited include current series producer Masaru Oyamada and producer Hiromichi Tanaka.

When does the concert happen?

The Mana 30th Anniversary Orchestra Concert takes place April 3, 2022 at Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Its day performance happens at 14:00 JST and the night at 18:30 JST. Mana fans, look forward to this exciting event to enjoy some of your favorite tracks. Hopefully Square Enix has more exciting events and projects planned to celebrate the Mana 30th anniversary.
