Meet Harry Osborn in the new Spider-Man 2 story trailer
We're going to heal the world!
Yesterday, Insomniac Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment gave us a deeper look for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 with a new story trailer.
In the trailer, we finally meet Harry Osborn without the Venom symbiote as Peter Parker introduces him to his friends. However, it doesn’t take long for Venom to creep back in as we learn some of his motivations to “heal the world”. Undoubtedly, this plays into Harry’s role as Venom to begin with, knowing that his father Norman was trying to use the symbiote to cure Harry of his terminal illness. You can also check out the action-packed trailer for yourself below!
In addition to getting a deeper look of Harry Osborn’s version of Venom, the trailer also highlights the relationship and partnership between Peter and Miles. We already know that Peter will eventually wear the symbiote himself in the game, and that it will make him a more brutal and darker person. However, Miles’ concern for Peter in the trailer hints more and more that we may have to play as Miles in a boss fight against Peter at some point in the story.
With so much to unpack in this trailer, it’s almost easy to forget about the spotlight once again put on Kraven the Hunter. Undoubtedly, he will dominate the focus of the first part of the game as he and the two Spider-Men battle not only each other, but Lizard as well. Seeing as though Peter will have the symbiote around the time he will battle Kraven, it also looks likely we could see some form of adaptation of Kraven’s Last Hunt.
