Today at Opening Night Live for Gamescom 2021, SEGA officially revealed the next character rolling into Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. And you’ll never see it coming! (Sorry had to). Morgana from Persona 5 is the next guest character to join the monkey gang! You can check out the reveal trailer for Morgana below!
There is one catch to mention. Unlike the other announced guest characters, Persona 5’s Morgana will be available on Nov. 2, nearly a month after the game’s launch. You can purchase the DLC after the launch of the game.
All that said, it’s another great addition to a growling list of guest characters for Banana Mania that includes Beat, Sonic and Tails, and Kiryu. If there’s more DLC to come after Morgana, I’m very curious to see if other Persona 5 characters will be added. The whole SEGA roster is at play now, and I would love to see any wild options get in the ball to roll with the Monkey Ball gang!
So where can you pre-order it?
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania is developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and will be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. The game will launch on Oct. 5, 2021. Retail prices are $29.99 USD for standard editions and $39.99 USD for deluxe versions.
