The MYTHOS expansion pack for A Total War Saga: TROY is now available.
The expansion pack adds an array of mythological features to the game. One new feature is the ability to fight and tame legendary beasts from Greek mythology. These fierce creatures include the Cerberus, the Griffin and the Hydra. Taming these legends from ancient Greece allows players to use them in battle against their foes.
In addition, players can recruit a variety of new units inspired by Greek mythology. You can recruit The Arimaspoi and Shades from the underworld to help vanquish your foes in battle. Mythological redesigns for the Centaur, Giants and the Minotaur are also included.
The MYTHOS expansion for A Total War Saga: TROY also includes new abilities inspired by Greek gods. Players can call upon the power of Zeus to smite their foes in battle with a powerful thunderbolt. They can also harness the powers of Poseidon with his mighty Tidal Wave.
Additionally, the MYTHOS expansion pack includes three new expeditions and a mythologically designed campaign map. The expansion pack gives players new gameplay options and environmental design to fully experience the Trojan War as an exploration into Greek mythology.
Experience the Trojan War as it truly happened
For those uninterested in the mythological elements of Greek history, the all new HISTORICAL mode is for you. Unlike the MYTHOS expansion pack, this new mode for TROY takes a grounded and realistic approach to the Trojan War.
One major change in the HISTORICAL mode is the exclusion of single-entity units with godlike powers. Instead, a group of bodyguards now accompany generals and heroes. Additionally, there are no longer any mystic units or abilities in this new mode. This new game mode is included as a free update to all owners of A Total War Saga: TROY
A Total War Saga: TROY on Steam
A Total War Saga: TROY is an action strategy game. Developed by CREATIVE ASSEMBLY and published by SEGA, this title is part of the Total War franchise. TROY sees players lead the charge in the famous Trojan War of Ancient Greece.
