New games coming to Xbox Game Pass

What do Xbox fans have to look forward to in the upcoming Xbox Game Pass batch?

Heads up! It looks like quite a few games are headed their way to Xbox Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass already had a strong headline this month, with games like Outer Wilds and Mass Effect joining the cloud. While Yakuza may be leaving the game pass, Xbox has a new selection to offer some replacement options.

What’s coming to the Xbox Game Pass?

Headed to cloud, console, and PC, a total of nine games are adding on. Some of the games are already available, while others still have some time before they get here.

Available today:

Coming soon on January 20:

  • Death’s Door (cloud, console, and PC)
  • Hitman Trilogy (cloud, console, and PC)
  • Pupperazzi (cloud, console, and PC)
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction (cloud, console, and PC)
  • Windjammers 2  (cloud, console, and PC)
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six SIEGE Deluxe Edition  (PC)

Coming soon on January 27:

  • Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master! (console, and PC)

We already heard about Nobody Saves the World coming to the Xbox Game Pass earlier in January. Other games, such as the Hitman Trilogy, are a new announcement. It’s always nice to see bundles being added to the game pass; that way, you don’t have to get hooked on one game only to have to wait for the next.

Leaving the pass

Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to some great games. As of January 31st, four more games will be headed out, including:

  • Cyber Shadow (cloud, console, and PC)
  • Nowhere Prophet (cloud, console, and PC)
  • Prison Architect (PC)
  • Xeno Crisis (cloud, console, and PC)

Xbox Game Pass subscribers should play these four as soon as possible before they disappear from the pass. Even if we’re losing some great titles, the new games coming later this month seem like great replacements.
