New leak suggests Batman: Arkham Collection will come to Switch
The Caped Crusader will reportedly come to Nintendo Switch in August!
A new listing by French retailer WT&T suggests that Batman: Arkham Collection will head to Nintendo Switch.
Although WT&T took the post down following the widespread attention, news of the leak already spread across the web. Before they deleted the listing, the post also mentioned an August 31, 2022 release date and 59,99 € price. In addition, the URL of the deleted webpage still contains the words Batman: Arkham Collection for Switch.
The Switch port of the Arkham Trilogy isn’t the first major leak by WT&T either. In 2018, the distributor also confirmed the release of The Witcher 3 on Nintendo Switch. The company’s accurate history with leaks only adds to the credibility of the new port. Although neither Warner Bros. or Rocksteady confirmed the port, there’s a high chance players will soon be able to suit up as The Dark Knight on Switch.
Rocksteady’s award-winning trilogy debuted with 2009’s revolutionary Arkham Asylum. The groundbreaking title surprised gamers and set the standard for superhero games going forward. In addition, its fluid combat mechanics, strategic stealth segments and gripping story paved the way for its sequels Arkham City and Arkham Knight.
Now, it appears Nintendo Switch players will get the chance to play through the iconic Batman: Arkham Collection later this year. Are you excited to play the legendary Arkham games on Switch? Let us know below!
