Last week, we revealed a brand new Shenmue III trailer from MAGIC 2019, and Famitsu revealed some more details of highly anticipated game.
According to Famitsu, Suzuki stated that Shenmue III will feature “400-500 NPCs”, calling it a “Shenmue-like number of people”. Additionally, there is an increased number of stores. These stores will feature many products, and have varying prices for the same product. You’ll have to explore each store and find the best deal!
Cutting logs will be the main part-time job of the game, but Ryo can also go fishing and sell his catches afterwards.
The most interesting detail out of the interview was regarding Ryo and food/hunger. If you don’t feed Ryo on a regular basis, he could stop running completely!
Shenmue III is heading to PS4 and PC on August 27, 2019.
