Our first look at Guilty Gear Strive DLC character Happy Chaos

Arc System Works released a video showing off gameplay for Guilty Gear Strive’s next DLC character Happy Chaos.
The trailer released today on the BANDAI NAMCO Europe YouTube channel. From the video, we can see that Happy Chaos’ pistol plays a major role within his move set. At one point, he even shoots the clock when the time limit for the round counts down.
Happy Chaos is a major antagonist of Guilty Gear Strive. Now, players will be able to take control of the pistol-wielding baddie for the first time as part of the Season Pass 1. Happy Chaos is the third character released as part of the first Season Pass. Two more characters will join the game in 2022.
Guilty Gear Strive released this year for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. Arc System Works’ newest game in the Guilty Gear franchise is a major departure from previous entries. The controversial title completely reworked the fighting mechanics in an effort to broaden their audience to new players.
While some fans argue the story lacked attention to many characters, they agree that Happy Chaos is a fun new villain. His importance to the story, as well as a leak found by dataminers, led many fans to expect his inclusion as a DLC character. Season Pass holders can play as Happy Chaos starting November 30. He will also be available as an individual download beginning December 3.
