Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis announces Sonic Colors: Ultimate collaboration

The Blue Blur is coming to PSO2 NGS.

SEGA announced two limited-time campaigns coming to Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis yesterday at the official PSO2 NGS broadcast. The campaigns include the Sonic Colors: Ultimate Collaboration and the Autumn Event. Both campaigns begin September 1 and run through September 28.

Official Navigator for New Genesis Hiro Arai announced the Sonic Collaboration includes an exclusive login bonus and collaboration items for joining the campaign. These items include a Sonic earring, Tails’ tails and Sonic’s shoes.

In addition, the campaign features a Tails doll to change your Mag’s appearance. There are also special Sonic and Tails emotes. You can also perform Sonic’s dash move and Tails’ glide. Last but not least, the Sonic Colors: Ultimate collaboration features cute Sonic-themed stamps.

The Autumn Event features a temporary texture update to change the city and fields to autumn colors. The campaign will also reward players for finding all of the “Mischief Symbols” in the city. In addition, The Autumn Event adds new limited time tasks to complete.

Xiandy also returns for the campaign. Players can visit her for tasks and shopping. Like the Sonic Colors: Ultimate Collaboration, The Autumn Event also features new stamps and accessories. The campaign also adds seasonal enemies to fight.

Arai also announced a new class coming to New Genesis in October. The new class, named Bouncer, features jet boots that can be used as blades to slay enemies. Gameplay featuring Bouncer was showcased during the event. The entire PSO2 NGS broadcast can be seen below.
