Picomy wants to bring Heroki to Android in 2016

Picomy had a pretty successful 2015, having finally released its much anticipated iOS platformer Heroki in July and then making onto the “App Store Best of 2015” in several countries towards the end of the year.

Since then, Picomy has been working hard on its 1.1 update that should go live soon, which promises to bring some big improvements and bug fixes and also Apple TV support.

Today, we learned that Picomy is hoping to release the game on Android this year, too.

“Android is becoming more realistic for us in the future,” said Picomy Co-founder Mike Balm told SEGA Nerds. “Right now we’re in the middle of submitting the Apple TV build, so that will go live very soon. We’re working on our Picon Engine for our next game which is also quite far. So yeah.. there’s lots of work in between but there is a great possibility Heroki is coming to Android this year as well.”

Balm was quick to note that the Android port could slip to next year due to other projects and commitments, but this is certainly welcome news for us Android users.

You can purchase Heroki on iOS here.
