Resident Evil Village DLC includes a playable Lady Dimitrescu
“Hardly worth the effort… let’s wrap this up quickly.”
Resident Evil Village soon receives a huge update with a new DLC. The new DLC, Winters’ Expansion, includes an update to the story and side mode, Mercenaries, which brings three new playable characters. But most importantly, players will now have the opportunity to play the villainous queen of the internet, Lady Dimitrescu herself.
Resident Evil Village DLC shows off their moves
The latest trailer for the Resident Evil Village DLC detailed how playing the three new characters look. Said three playable characters now include Chris Redfield, Karl Heisenberg, and, of course, Lady D.
Chris Redfield
- Redfield comes with a lot of firepower with his Onslaught Gauge. After the gauge fills from taking down enemies, unleash your power in onslaught mode. Onslaught move increases reload speed, move speed, and attack damage. Redfield can also use a Target Locator for supporting attacks.
Karl Heisenberg
- With a large, electronically-powered hammer, Karl Heisenberg packs some big hits. He can charge the hammer’s attack to unleash an area-of-effect strike. Alternatively, pull enemies closer with a magnetic field to get them in perfect-striking range. If you need a helping hand, feel free to summon a Soldat Jet.
Lady Dimitrescu
- The most exciting of the three is Lady Alcina Dimitrescu. Lady D uses her iconic talons to slash into her enemies, which raises her Thrill Gauge feature. With the increasing Thrill Gauge, Lady D gains access to new moves as her movement speed and nail damage increases. Additionally, she can also summon one of her three daughters to help out in a fight.
When does the Winters’ Expansion release?
The Winters’ Expansion releases October 28, 2022, just in time for Halloween. If you were on the internet for any amount of time during the games release, you certainly know the face of Lady D. Players will most likely gravitate to playing her first on these side missions. If you haven’t played the game at all and have yet to witness her majesty, we certainly recommend checking it out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or PC.
