RUMOR: A Shenmue-related announcement is coming very soon

Following the release of Shenmue III, many fans wondered how long it would take for something new to come out. According to a tweet from Dusk Golem, a Shenmue-related announcement may be coming sooner than we thought. Dusk Golem shared some early Resident Evil 3 and 8 information, which later turned out to be true.

Here’s what he had to say:

Some speculate that it could be a manga or DLC, but at this point it’s only speculation. Gamescom is happening this week and SEGA plans to be there, so that will be interesting. Tokyo Game Show also has a virtual event near the end of September.
