Saints Row joins this week’s upcoming games!
Saints Row, Pac-Man World Re-Pac, Soul Hackers 2 and more!
Happy Monday, everyone! It’s the start of another new week, which means we have lots of exciting new games in store. Whether you want to build a criminal empire in Saints Row or summon demons in Soul Hackers 2, there’s something for you. So, without any further delay, here are all the new games coming out this week.
Saints Row (Aug. 23)
Starting things off this week, we have Saints Row. Developed by Volition and published by Deep Silver, this reboot of the classic gangster sandbox introduces a new Saints gang but returns with all the chaos fans expect. Placing you into the brand new desert city of Santo Ileso, it’s up to you to take your group of debt-stricken millennials to the very top of the criminal underground.
Alongside the story, the new game also returns with new mini-games, both new and classic, to wreak even more mayhem in. In addition, you can fully customize your character, cars and guns with the most in-depth creation suite to date. Saints Row blasts out tomorrow on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC via The Epic Games Store.
Midnight Fight Express (Aug. 23)
Smashing into your home next is Midnight Fight Express. Developed by Jacob Dzwinel and published by Humble Games, this action-packed brawler harkens back to the beat ’em ups of yesteryear while adding some modern flair. Featuring motion-captured combat and deep, but accessible, mechanics, this game promises to be a wild ride from start to finish.
Marked by its fluid and stylistic fighting that sees gameplay range from on foot, to in cars to on boats and more, this title offers non-stop flashy action. In addition, trailers have shown some elements may even get supernatural at times. You can jump into Midnight Fight Express tomorrow when it hits PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
F1 Manager 2022 (Aug. 25)
Then, developer and publisher Frontier Developments bring us the ultimate race team simulator. In F1 Manager 2022, you’ll drive every decision with full control over your Formula 1 racing team . Additionally, races feature unparalleled authenticity with broadcast-quality presentaion.
In the game’s career mode, you’ll get to start your journey from the beginning by choosing your team and taking them to victory. To do this, you’ll need to build the perfect racecars and strategy to execute a high-velocity plan. F1 Manager 2022 races out to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC on August 25.
SD Gundam Battle Alliance (Aug. 25)
If you’re looking to get lost in a new multiplayer action RPG, then look no further than SD Gundam Battle Alliance. Developed and published by Bandai Namco, you’ll take on a number of foes in mobile mechanized combat suits throughout a series of missions. The story takes place in G: Universe, a world that will make players re-think what they know about Gundam canon to date.
Throughout the game, you’ll lead a three-unit squadron of Mobile Suits and pilots from across Gundam history. As you travel through this distorted history, you’ll have a variety of Mobile Suit weaponry that realistically weathers through battle. You can start your journey in SD Gundam Battle Alliance on August 24 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Pac-Man World Re-Pac (Aug. 26)
Bandai Namco takes us back to Pac-Man World with the new remaster Pac-Man World Re-Pac this week. The new remaster takes the PlayStation classic and adds revamped graphics and smoother gameplay. In addition, the game will also feature a new and improved user interface.
The original Pac-Man World took the core elements of Pac-Man and brought the hungry to mascot to life in a fun 3D platformer. Featuring creative boss fights and addictive platform action, the classic game gets a breath of new life this week. You can jump into Pac-Man World Re-Pac on August 26 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Soul Hackers 2 (Aug. 26)
Soul Hackers 2 is the sequel to 1997’s Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. Developed and published by Atlus, the turn-based JRPG follows a war between two Devil Summoner factions that use demons to help fight in battle. The game takes place during the mid-21st century, where a sentient being of data called Aion overlooks the world.
As the state of the world falls into danger, it’s up to you as Ringo to stop the impending apocalypse. You’ll also meet a series of Devil Summoners to aid you as you face off against the Phantom Society. Soul Hackers 2 launches for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC on August 26.
