SEGA accidentally leaked new Sonic 2022 title in a press release
Many Sonic fans have been speculating on what the name of the next ‘Sonic’ title would be. SEGA themselves may have slipped up again.
In a report by Eurogamer, they revealed that SEGA sent out a press release about the Sonic Central stream on May 27th, which included information about the updated version of Sonic Colors, along with an animated short and many collaborations.
Among the details was the slip-up from SEGA stating the title of the next game. You can read it below:

As many speculated, the next ‘Sonic’ title may be called Sonic Rangers. Eurogamer reports that SEGA’s press release was taken down. However, many European versions are still up and translated. It is almost word for word the same as in English. Here is one from the French release:
