SEGA is Holding a Party for Sonic’s 25th Anniversary on June 25th at Tokyo Joyopolis
SEGA is certainly rolling out the red carpet for Sonic the Hedgehog this year, and the month of June has a couple of new surprises from the blue brand, including a party event in Tokyo. SEGA announced earlier today that they will be holding a party for Sonic’s 25th anniversary on June 25th at Tokyo Joyopolis, and it will be broadcast live on channels like YouTube, Niconico, and Abema TV.
Takashi Iizuka and other prominent Sonic Team members will host a panel about the series and guests who attend the party will be able to play the demo version of Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice and get autographs from the Sonic Team. Entry packages will also be available, and they’ll include cool swag like a limited edition Sonic 25th Anniversary Collector’s Coin, t-shirt, towel, bottle, and more.
