SEGA’s Astro City Mini full game list has been revealed

Here comes the "Sonic" Boom!

SEGA surprisingly revealed the Astro City Mini — its next piece of retro mini hardware — in early July to celebrate the company’s 60th anniversary. During its initial announcement, SEGA said the mini arcade will come with 36 games but only confirmed 10 games during the festivities.

In late August, SEGA announced another dozen, and they’ve just confirmed the rest of the games that will be pre-installed on the Astro City Mini in recent livestream.

The following games were announced to complete the Astro City Mini’s library:

  • Scramble Spirits
  • Ninja Princess
  • Arabian Fight
  • Sonic Boom
  • Stack Columns
  • Flicky
  • Quartet 2
  • Puyo Puyo Tsu
  • Thunder Force AC
  • Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars
  • Rad Mobile
  • Space Harrier
  • Seishun Scandal / My Hero

The rest of the list of games previously announced include:

  • Alien Syndrome
  • Alien Storm
  • Golden Axe
  • Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder
  • Columns II
  • Dark Edge
  • Puzzle & Action: Tant-R
  • Virtua Fighter
  • Fantasy Zone
  • Altered Beast
  • Bonanza Bros
  • Columns
  • Cotton
  • Crack Down
  • ESWAT
  • Gain Ground
  • Ichidant-R
  • Puyo Puyo
  • Shadow Dancer
  • Shinobi
  • Wonder Boy
  • Wonder Boy in Monster Land
  • Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair

In addition to the full game list finally being confirmed, SEGA has also revealed a compatible arcade stick, controllers and even an arcade stand, which makes the Mini look like an upright arcade, that can be purchased separately.

The Astro City Mini will include an HDMI-out, two USB-A ports, a Micro USB port, a headphone jack and will include microswitches in the arcade stick.

The Astro City Mini is slated to release in Japan in December for 12,800 yen (about $150 for Americans). SEGA is still accepting pre-orders, so get yours in before they sell out!
