SEGA’s Revolve8 is a new mobile RTS helmed by former Jet Set Radio director
SEGA has just announced the launch dates for its new mobile real-time strategy game titled Revolve8 that is being directed by Jet Set Radio director Masayoshi Kikuchi and legendary developer Koji Igarashi, who will serve as the character designer.

According to SEGA, in Revolve8, you wield a deck of eight cards, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, in an attempt to destroy your opponent’s towers within the time limit. The rules are simple, but the cards and powerful Hero skills they use opens up players to fun and strategic real-time duels.
The game’s story is rooted in an imaginary world called Imago, which is filled with folklore and fairy tales. Every century, war breaks out and a cast of classic fairy tale heroes fights for the chance to rewrite their stories and gain fame.
“Characters from well-known fairy tales are reimagined in a unique way by Koji Igarashi,” SEGA said. “For example, Red Riding Hood is a fashion and social media fanatic while Cinderella is a motorcycle-loving popstar, and many more!”

Each Hero has a Normal Skill anda SP Skill. SP Skills can only be used once in a match by the deck leader, while Normal Skills can be used every 30 seconds by any of the Heroes in the deck. When used correctly, these skills can potentially turn the battle around.
●Learn the basics with Quests
Clear single-player quests to pick up the basics of battle and understand the strengths and weaknesses of each Hero.
