What is Shenmue the Animation?
The series airs every Saturday at 12 AM EST and is available to watch on Adult Swim (dubbed version) and Crunchyroll (subbed version).
The anime is a co-production between Adult Swim and Crunchyroll, with Telecom Animation Film providing animation duties. Sakurai Chikara, who is best known for One-Punch Man, is serving as the director, while the SEGA legend himself and creator of Shenmue Yu Suzuki is overseeing as the show’s executive producer.Season 1 consists of 13 episodes.
The opening theme is “UNDEAD-NOID” performed by Kashitarō Itō, while the ending theme is “Sympathy” performed by Narudora.
