Sonic Colors: Ultimate physical edition delayed across most EMEA regions
Some unfortunate news coming from SEGA today about Sonic Colors: Ultimate. In a tweet from SEGA Europe, the company announced that physical editions for the game will be delayed across most Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions at launch.
The delay will affect both the game’s standard edition and the keyring edition. The delay will NOT affect Australia or New Zealand. It will also not affect the digital release of the game.
You can check out the full tweet below:
It stinks to see, but it’s also not surprising. While no reason has been given, please remember to not harass anyone working at SEGA, or on Sonic Colors: Ultimate about the delay. I hate that this needs to be reiterated time and time again, but it has already happened in the replies of the tweet.
Delays happen and are common in the industry. Attacking anyone that works at SEGA because you’re mad isn’t going to fix the issue. We’ll have more updates on the new release date for EMEA regions when they are made available.
