Streets of Rage 4 gameplay trailer might tease new characters
Dear God, please let this be real.
There probably isn’t a game currently in development I’m more excited for than Streets of Rage 4, and I’m genuinely sad at the reality that I won’t be at this year’s PAX East to get to play the demo that will be available.
To rub salt in the wound, a new gameplay trailer has been released that shows Axel and Blaze whooping all kinds of butt. Not only is there a heaping helping of fisticuffs on display, but the trailer also shows the new juggling mechanic between our two protagonists.
The last few seconds of the trailer are particularly interesting, though, as it appears to show silhouettes of two new characters on either side of Blaze and Axel and one above the duo. Could these be all new playable characters?!?!
Streets of Rage 4 is co-developed by Dotemu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games in association with SEGA. There has not been an official announcement on which consoles the game will appear on or when it will be released.
