Back in April, Streets of Rage 4 was finally getting some DLC. The new content reintroduces Mr. X from the older games and brings three new fighters to the mix. Only Estelle and Max Thunder were announced, until now. Dotemu gave up the goods this morning and revealed the final character.
Entering the fight is the one and only Shiva:
Play as Shiva, the charismatic Kenpō master, whose time has come to repent. Ready to leave the Syndicate for good, Axel Stone’s former rival is now determined to make a difference in Mr. X Nightmare.

In addition to these new characters, Streets of Rage 4 gets a Survival Mode, character customization, a Mania + mode, and more. Did we mentioned the training mode and tutorial? Oh, and there’s also some brand new music from Tee Lopes, who created memorable tunes on Sonic Mania.
As of right now there is no official release date for the DLC. Dotemu has stated the Mr. X DLC comes out “later this year.” You can see the game’s full Steam page here.
