Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge launches June 16!
Plus Dotemu reveals the inclusion of 6 player co-op!
Today during Summer Game Fest, publisher Dotemu revealed the highly-anticipated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge launches next week on June 16! This also officially confirms last week’s PlayStation database leak.
Alongside the release date, the new trailer also reveals Casey Jones as a playable character in the game. Jones joins all the turtles, April O’Neil and Master Splinter as playable characters. You can also see Jones in the trailer using a variety of golf clubs and baseball bats to bash enemies.
However, the biggest reveal in the newest TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge gameplay trailer is the inclusion of six-player co-op. The news drops as both Casey Jones and April O’Neil step up alongside the turtles to take on some baddies. Players can also enjoy the six-player cooperative mode in both local and online multiplayer.
To see the trailer for yourself, you can watch it and other exciting reveals below through the Summer Game Fest livestream!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge launches next week!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is an arcade-style beat ’em up, heavily inspired by the classic TMNT games for the NES. The spiritual successor to the classic side-scrolling Turtles games of the ’90s naturally stars the four famed heroes as the fight to stop the evil Shredder from his latest world domination scheme. Did I mention the original voice actors from the 1987 cartoon are returning?
Shredder’s Revenge is developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu. It launches on June 16 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Limited Run Games and Signature Edition Games have confirmed physical editions of Shredder’s Revenge are on the way. You will be able to purchase Shredder’s Revenge from the Limited Run Games store and the Signature Edition Games website.
