The Beta for Halo Infinite Co-Op campaign drops July 11th

It’s been a long road for Halo Infinite since it was released last year. The game saw a strong start, but interest has dwindled in the months following its release. A significant reason is the lack of content and updates to both the campaign and multiplayer modes. But it seems like a heavily fan-requested one for the story mode is on the way.

343 has announced that the beta for the campaign co-op mode is coming July 11th and run until July 22nd. The whole campaign will be playable from start to finish. To sign up, you have to own Halo Infinite or have Xbox Game Pass. After that, console owners will need to sign up for the Xbox Insiders Program through the app you can find on the Xbox Store. Steam players have to sign up via the Halo Insiders website by July 5th. You can check out the announcement tweet below, which includes a link for all directions to sign up.

Is this the first step to fixing Halo Infinite?

Co-op mode for the campaign of Halo Infinite is a substantial start to getting goodwill back from the fans. The mode was one that fans complained a lot about lacking at release. And while it’s taken some time to get here, it being bug-free would be a magnificent sign the wait was worth it. It could also mean the wait for more multiplayer content will be worth it also.

Halo Infinite is available now on Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Xbox Store. It is also available for free for all Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Are you considering taking a crack at the campaign again with a partner? Let us know in the comments below.
