With a new trailer, more has been revealed about The Callisto Protocol. We originally heard from a Twitter user discovering a hidden phone number in a teaser about the game. The number hinted more news coming out on September 29. Now that the day has come, the game dropped an all-new trailer titled “The Truth of Black Iron.” Developed by Striking Distance Studios and published by Krafton, The Callisto Protocol will surely send chills down your spine

The Callisto Protocol is a single player narrative-driven survival horror. Set 300 years in the future, Jacob Lee currently stays in a maximum-security penitentiary known as Black Iron Prison. The prison is located on Jupiter’s Moon, Callisto. Jacob soon finds he must survive the prison when the inmates transform into monsters. However, Callisto holds dark secrets beneath the surface, ones that Jacob must escape…
The Truth of Black Iron trailer shows of a couple of the characters, including Jacob Lee, leader of the resistance group Dani Nakamura, and captain of the prison guard Leon. From the minds of the same developers who made Dead Space, this game looks like a true survival horror, with tentacle monsters and mysterious secrets.

When does the game release?
The Callisto Protocol releases December 2, 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. That’s only a couple months from now, just in time for the holiday season.
