With the Sonic the Hedgehog movie close enough that we can practically watch the clock tick down to its release, YouTubers are coming out of the woodwork with all sorts of content to capitalize on all the hype that’s almost surprisingly surrounding the film.
To that end, Jirard “The Completionist” Khalil has released a new video looking back at what is one of the Blue Blur’s arguably better 3D titles, Sonic Generations, and whether it’s good enough to simply finish, or if it should be seen through to its full completion:
Following that, as a part of their Patreon “Beard Bowl” series, Super Beard Bros. Jirard and Brett Bayonne sit down to play the game that started it all, Sonic the Hedgehog for the SEGA Genesis (and virtually everything else that’s used electricity since 2001).
All this Sonic hype in the air just makes you want to break out one of the old games take it for a Sonic Spin, doesn’t it? What’s your choice? Sonic Generations? The one that puts the “OG” in “hedgehOG”? Or maybe you’re holding out for SEGA AGES: Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which hits the Nintendo Switch eShop on February 20th (unless you’re in Japan, where they’ll be getting that instead of the movie on Thursday, as the film doesn’t release there until March 27th).
