It’s a great time to be a fan of The King of Fighters! The SNK brawling series is having a banner year so far with the release of The King of Fighters XV. But that’s not the only thing fans have to look forward to this year. How about a massive encyclopedia for the biggest fans of the franchise?
During the Japanese Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable 3, SNK and Bitmap Books announced The King of Fighters: The Ultimate History! The book will include art and details about the history and how it has evolved over the years. It’ll clock in at 544 pages and be available worldwide in May 2022. As fans can see, the cover will have Kyo Kusanagi standing in front of Iori Yagami.
It’s fantastic to see Bitmap Books is handling The King of Fighters: The Ultimate History. The company has made a name publishing extensive encyclopedias on gaming history. Their latest release, Go Straight: The Ultimate Guide to Side-Scrolling Beat-‘Em-Ups, has seen very positive word of mouth from the gaming community. They show immense care for their releases and it looks like this one will be no different!
