The roster for The King of Fighters XV continues to grow by the week. SNK has confirmed that the game will have 39 fighters at launch. And now we know of another one joining the brawl. Whip will return to duke it out again in the arena! You can check out the reveal trailer below!
Whip’s inclusion into The King of Fighters XV isn’t too surprising, considering the other members of the Ikari team are on the roster. To give a little background for newcomers, Whip was introduced in The King of Fighters ’99. She was a member of the Ikari Warriors team that included Leona, Clark, and Ralf. All three of the latter have also been confirmed as a team for The King of Fighters XV. Although I find it odd that SNK has said that Whip will not be a member of the Ikari team this time? What squad will she join forces with? We’ll have to find out when the game drops.
The King of Fighters XV will release on February 17th, 2022, worldwide. It will drop on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on Steam and the Epic Game Store. Are you excited to return to the arena with Whip? Let us know below!
