The Master System comes to Lost Judgment with eight playable games
The news keeps rolling in for Lost Judgment as we get closer to the game’s official release on Sept. 24. One of the most unique aspects of any Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio game is the inclusion of classic SEGA titles that are playable by the main characters at any point in the game.
We now know that the tradition is going to keep up in Lost Judgment. Ryu Ga Gotoku confirmed on Twitter that eight Master System games will be playable in the game. They are:
- Alex Kidd in Miracle World
- Fantasy Zone
- Penguin Land
- Quartet
- Enduro Racer
- Woody Pop
- Maze Hunter 3-D
- Secret Command
I may have been born before the Master System, but I still understand how neat it is to include these eight games into a massive game like Lost Judgment is going to be.
I’ve played Alex Kidd in Miracle World in its entirety multiple times. Alex Kidd means a lot to me due to the nostalgia of going to my grandparents’ house to play it as a child. Years after its release, when I could have played a Nintendo 64, I sunk hours into Alex Kidd without a care in the world. It looks like I’ll be doing it again in Lost Judgment, along with trying out the other games included!
Lost Judgment releases on Sept. 24th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
