The Texas Chain Saw Massacre game gets a LoFi hip-hop playlist
Cooking with Leatherface has never been so chill.
Nothing says chainsaw-wielding psychopath like LoFi hip-hop. Right? Well, as odd as it sounds, you can listen to an official LoFi hip-hop playlist on YouTube for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre game.
Accompanying the oddly soothing beats is an animated video of Leatherface in the kitchen, chopping some kind of meat. We can probably assume what that’s made out of probably. Either way, the playlist, dubbed LoFi Leatherface – Beats for the Whole Family gives the horror icon some relaxing melodies to prepare dinner to. You can also check it out for yourself below!
If you watch the video long enough, you may also spot some other members of the Sawyer family peaking through the window from time to time. All the while, soothing beats like Fall Foliage by Sillage play in the background.
Is the concept strange? Sure. But that doesn’t make it bad! I give props to Gun Media for coming up with such a unique way to market its upcoming asymmetrical horror game. Following last week’s bloody new trailer, you can certainly understand Leatherface’s need to take a break and prepare a “nice” meal for his family.
