As you captain your ghost ship, you’ll also gain access to supernatural powers to defy the menacing Inquisition of the Burning Maiden.
Featuring stealth strategy, you’ll also need to use your wits to uncover the mysterious treasure of the legendary Captain Mordechai. To help you, you’ll also have the help of eight shipmates who each have their own personality and special powers. Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew sails out this Thursday for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Vampire Survivors (Aug. 17)
Vampire Survivors is an action game developed and published by Poncle. With over 50 hours of content, you’ll face countless monsters with retro-style gameplay. In the game, you’ll begin with just the ability to move around, as your attacks automatically happen at regular intervals.
You’ll have to be fast, as you dodge through gaps in between the enemies to make sure they’re in your attack radius. Each level will start you with just a whip, but as you progress, you’ll be able to upgrade your offense to blast through the creatures of the night. Though Vampire Survivors first came to other platforms last year, Nintendo Switch players can get their hands on it this Thursday.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (Aug. 18)
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a spiritual successor to Jet Set Radio. Developed and published by Team Reptile, the game places you in the skates of multiple kids in All City, running with the Bomb Rush Crew. This group of rebellious skaters and BMXers fight together against the oppression of an uncaring populace and a militant police force.
Throughout the game, you’ll pull off cool sports moves and tag locations with graffiti. As you skate all around the world, you’ll pick up speed, grind on rails and perform tricks. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk rolls out onto Nintendo Switch and PC this Friday.
Madden NFL 24 (Aug. 18)

The new game brings improvements to the FieldSense system, Franchise, Superstar and even the skeletons of the on and off-field character models. In addition, the popular minigames will finally return to the series after years of absence.
The new game in the Madden franchise brings together some of the best contemporary NFL players like Patrick Mahomes, Nick Chubb and Justin Jefferson. The game also adds new tackle types and the brand new contested catch tackle system to provide defenders with more control when playing the receiver. Madden NFL 24 kicks off to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC this Friday.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (Aug. 18)
Closing this week out is The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Developed by Sumo Digital and published by Gun Interactive, this asymmetric multiplayer game puts you in the shoes of both the victims and killers of the classic 1974 slasher movie. Brought to you by the same team behind Friday the 13th: The Game, the new game puts the focus on Leatherface and the infamous Sawyer Family.
Featuring three killers instead of one, players will need to be both smart and sneaky to out-maneuver the crazed family. To accommodate for the triple threat, the developers spent additional time ensuring the game’s levels, as well as the killers’ abilities, don’t make winning impossible for survivors. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre revs up onto PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC this Friday.
