After years of hope and anticipation from fans, we now know when the wolf is coming back. In a live stream, Telltale Games revealed the first trailer and details for the highly anticipated The Wolf Among Us 2! The fantasy noir will release episodically starting in 2023. After Telltales closing and revival, it’s magnificent to see The Wolf Among Us 2 in action. The switch to developing on the Unreal Engine looks gorgeous for the comic book style that Telltale established with the first game. The artistic direction just in the trailer alone is awe-inspiring at points.
As for the mystery this time around, the trailer doesn’t give a lot to go on. We do know the game takes place six months after the first game. But it looks like Bigby is still struggling to be a sheriff/investigator while keeping his real self in check. Then again, that might be hard to do when characters from The Wizard of Oz are throwing you through a wall. Whatever is happening in Fabeltown this time, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be an easy case for Bigby and Snow White.
