Typing of the Dead: Overkill to include Yahoo Answers custom dictionary
"Will it die if I shoot in the head?"
Yahoo! Answers is shutting down on May 4, and the death of the site turns into content for Typing of the Dead: Overkill! On twitter, YahooAnswersTXT posted that they have collected 500 of the best and worst questions.
The Steam version of Typing of the Dead: Overkill allows users to create custom dictionaries, which basically means you’re able to write your own words and phrases that appear during the game, replacing the original lines entirely.
You can now relive weird posts like “I can’t stop sinning?” “I need a Badass, yet Sexy Gamer Name?” and “What is bitcoin and why?”. A personal favorite is “Is Google owned by YouTube?” Available in the Steam Workshop for no additional charge, if you already own the game, you really should check it out.
Over the years, there have been plenty of other hilarious custom dictionaries, like Shakespeare or even a Hideki Naganuma dictionary that replaces all the words with lines from his video game soundtracks. “Understand, Understand!”
This might actually turn into some thing hilarious for us at Mega Visions to stream on our Twitch channel! What other site archives, quotes or memes would you like for someone to put in the game for you to type? Let us know in the comments!!
