Atlas Fallen, WrestleQuest and more!

Good morning, and happy Monday, everyone! It’s the start of a new week, which means we have lots of exciting new releases to look at. Whether you want to hit the ropes in WrestleQuest or blast into Atlas Fallen, there’s something new for you. So, let’s not waste anymore time as we look at this week’s upcoming games.

WrestleQuest (Aug. 8)

WrestleQuest

Starting things off this week, we have WrestleQuest. Developed by Mega Cat Studios and published by Skybound Games, this unique title takes RPGs where they’ve never gone before—to the wrestling ring. Throughout the game, you’ll powerbomb and piledrive your way to the top through a breathtaking pixel art wrestling world.

Wrestling fans will jump for joy as they interact with such legends of the business like Jake “The Snake” Roberts, the Road Warriors, “Macho Man” Randy Savage and more. Combining the wrestling nostalgia with classic JRPG elements will make this game a must play for fans of either genre. WrestleQuest hits the mat tomorrow for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Gord (Aug. 8)

Slashing into your home next is Gord. Developed by Covenant.dev and published by Team17, this strategy game sees you lead the people of the Tribe of the Dawn as they journey into the forbidden lands. As you play, you’ll complete quests that shape your tribe’s personalities, impact their wellbeing and decide the fate of their community.

To survive, you’ll need to erect palisades, develop structures and grow your gord into a formidable fortress. However, your tribe will always face the risk of attack from enemy tribes, gruesome monsters and strange powers that lurk in the woods. You can venture into Gord tomorrow when it comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Tower of Fantasy (Aug. 8)

Then, Hotta Studio and Level Infinite bring their MMORPG Tower of Fantasy to PlayStation 5. Originally released last year for PC and mobile devices, this game sees you and your friends embark on an epic fantasy adventure. The title places you hundreds of years in the future on the distant planet of Aida as you journey through the open-world anime-infused sci-fi adventure.

Throughout the game, you’ll explore a vast alien world full of breathtaking open vistas and imposing futuristic structures. As you journey onward, you’ll also meet a cast of unique characters, each with their own compelling backstory. You can start your quest in Tower of Fantasy when it comes to PlayStation 5 tomorrow.

30XX (Aug. 9)

If you love classic shmups like Mega Man, you won’t want to miss 30XX. Developed and published by Batterystaple games, this action-packed shoot ’em up draws heavy inspiration from the Capcom classic. Throughout the game, you’ll jump, shoot and slash your way through intense roguelike action-platforming sequences.

In addition, the game offers two-player co-op, so you can play with a friend. As you progress, you’ll battle fearsome guardians and master unique powers as you travel through lush, ever-changing worlds. You can blast into 30XX on Wednesday when it comes to Nintendo Switch and PC.
